Events in the field
Children have mobile phones, games and TV. They like those media and they have mastered their technical services. Most of the times, their parents don´t know about the risks, the children may encounter while 'surfing in the virtual world'.
To deal with a safe use of new media by children and youth is an enormous challenge for parents and pedagogues. They have to be extremely media literate to enable children to a safe use and to make them aware of the possible risks.
This conference is directed at partners of parents, day-nurseries, schools and advisory centres as well as at actors of youth protection, like social youth workers and pedagogues.
The application to this conference is possible until 15th of October 2007. The conference fee is 10,00 Euro.
