The australian premier John Howard has announced a programme to protect underage persons from risks of the internet. Therefore, the government will spend about 118 million euro to finance awareness campaigns, media eduction and filter software free of charge. The filter shall be disseminated in schools, libraries and families. It shall block all websites, which are banned by the Australian internet-regulation organisation as well as the websites families have blocked by themselves.
