The video-sharing service YouTube updated their user-community-guidelines – thus the regulation of videos which incite others to violence will be stricter. Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.) criticised, Youtube was too plain for militant propaganda from terrorist groups. Youtube removed some videos that e.g. were marked with the logos of al-Qaeda and affiliated groups.
The spokesman Ricardo Reyes said: "YouTube reviews its content guidelines a few times a year, and we take the community's input seriously, the senator made some good points." The debate between Lieberman and Youtube caused conflicts between holder of rights and the persons demanding to fight against terrorism.
