Save the Children Italy is promoting its latest educational proposal for teachers and educators in regards to Internet safety. It consists of a handbook which proposes media education, children rights and digital citizenship as a new integrated methodological approach to enhance responsible online behaviour of young people.
The didactic tool comprehends a full set of activities for teachers and educators to be played with their pupils and to be combined in different manners in order to arrange a complete educational process.

Handbook for
teachers: Education and New Media; rights and responsibilities leading to a
digital citizenship
The handbook helps to explain the importance of education related
to new media, how children can have concrete experience of their rights
thanks to new media and how to enhance online safety through an
educational process which makes them aware of their emotions, rights
and responsibilities related to their online behaviour.
